It's amazing how fast Reagan is growing and changing. She's only two months yet has already lost that newborn look and now has the complete look of a little girl. She is holding her head up pretty steadily and drumroll.........rolled over from her back to her stomach all by herself yesterday. Such a big girl! Her being our first child, I figured it was exciting stuff for us but probably on schedule, but leave it to google to prove me wrong. My baby is a genius! Babies typically roll from stomach to back at 2-3 months and then back to stomach 5-6 months. My baby is 3 months advanced! Of course I take all of the credit...haha.
Here's a list of changes that I've noticed over the past two or so weeks:
-doesn't scream in the bathtub anymore...I think she realized that if she would calm down and relax it might actually feel nice to get clean
-her eye lashes have grown in and are super long. Her eyebrows are on their way in.
-her hair is getting so long....only in the back and sides though. My poor baby may soon be a mullet baby.
-she knows when I get home from work or walk into a room. She immediately looks in the direction of my voice and starts rooting (apparently that's all I'm good for)
-her newborn outfits were getting a little snug length wise, so she is able to now wear some 0-3 month clothes. However, some 3 month pants still fall right off of her. As of Monday, she weighs 9lb. 11oz and is 21 inches long. That puts her in the 25% on weight and 10% on height.
-She is sleeping through the night now. We put her to bed around 9:00 or 9:30 each night and then she wakes up around 4:00 to feed. Good news is that she's sleeping through the night. Bad news is Ben and I are sleeping less. We are so paranoid about her sleeping and being so quiet that we constantly jump up to check on her and have our ears on alert for any sound.
We are both still in complete amazement of our little one and how much we love her. We still just sit and stare at her. It's funny how much less TV we watch now...instead we just watch Reagan. :)
